Knitting Coffee Mugs – We all have to start somewhere! With any project there is a learning curve and the same is true with knitting mugs. The first time I knit a coffee mug I made a mess of it. I think that is because I just loved the smell of coffee and the look of it, so I kept it for a while, until I actually had to throw it away.
After I got over my fear of messing up a project, I started getting really into knitting mugs. The first one that I knit was a cute mug for my daughter to drink from. It was made out of a blanket that I had made and just needed a hole punch and some hot glue to put it in place. She absolutely loved it. Since then I have learned that there are many different kinds of mugs and gifts to make.
Some of them are even made to look like animals, cars, and even soap! My personal favorite is the cute heart mugs that you can get in the color of your favorite team. When I go on holiday trips I take my knitting mugs with me because I love to take them with me and I know when I see my loved ones that they will be happy to see me and they know that I am always knitting something.
